In our continued effort to maximize value to you, please follow the instructions carefully. They are tried and true with thousands of successful applications. These instructions have been tailored to give you the greatest chance for success. Each application with its own methodology is based on years of extensive testing and is fine-tuned for the specific results desired. It is important to note that Auto-Rx^® contains chemistry uniquely formulated to provide good results where other products may have failed. We know of NO OTHER PRODUCT that can provide the same results as Auto-Rx^®.

Auto-Rx^® is a proven metal cleaner. It does not change the chemistry of the engine oil or its viscosity. It will not cause foaming and does not interfere with injectors or sensors. Auto-Rx^® utilizes engine oil to move through and clean all engine areas that are normally reached by lubrication. It is safe to use and will not cause engine damage. It is carefully formulated to dissolve carbon deposits and sludge so they can be removed by the oil filter or otherwise drained away with the next oil change. These claims are substantiated by many INDEPENDENT/THIRD-PARTY TESTS, and the results are available on this website for your review.

Basic Engine Cleaning
For vehicles in good condition with less than 100,000 miles. This will work for stuck rings, most stuck lifters, and many other situations that are under forced (pressurized) circulation. Not for sludge! Vehicles with more than 100,000 miles may require a second application.

Sludge Removal
For all engines. FOR BEST RESULTS, USE ONLY CONVENTIONAL OR ONE OF THE APPROVED SYNTHETIC OILS TO REMOVE SLUDGE. Most synthetic oils have a complex additive package that holds oil to metal, which also applies to sludge and therefore hinders the safe removal of sludge. Fast Track Engine Cleaning
For vehicles that do not meet the mileage requirements for the Basic or Sludge Application

Diesel Engine Cleaning
For large and small diesels

Transmission Cleaning
Use the proper application: Automatic, Manual, Power Steering, Differential. Also see FAQs about Auto-Rx in transmissions.

Motorcycle Cleaning
Auto-Rx^® can be added to your existing oil if you have at least 1500 miles of service life left in the oil, or you can change to fresh oil if you wish. Also see FAQs about Auto-Rx in motorcycles.

Oil-Burning Problem
For excess oil loss. Several factors may cause heavy oil burning. Stopping the oil burning is not an exact science. In other words, even after you complete the first application, you will need to continue to drive another 500, maybe 3,000 miles, before you will see the best results. It may be necessary to use a second application.

Seal Leaks
Also for rotating seals. We recommend that you follow up your treatment by going on the Auto-Rx^® maintenance program. Do not begin the Auto-Rx^® maintenance program until the rotating seal leak has stopped.
