| STEP 1* | For best results, Auto-Rx® should be added to a fresh charge of conventional (non-synthetic) oil with a new oil filter installed. Add Auto-Rx® at a rate of 2 fluid ounces per quart of motor oil into a warm motor. |
| STEP 2 | After adding Auto-Rx®, run the motor for 5 minutes to disperse Auto-Rx® into the host motor oil. |
| STEP 3 | Over time, drive 2,500 miles with normal driving habits to allow Auto-Rx® to gently cleanse the oiling system internals, including seals. |
| STEP 4 | Drain the oil, change the filter, and refill with conventional oil. DO NOT ADD AUTO-RX® OR ANY ADDITIVES. IMPORTANT: Do not use synthetic or high mileage oils. |
| STEP 5 | Over time, drive another 3,000 miles; then change the oil and filter again. THE OIL LEAK SHOULD STOP DURING THIS PHASE. |
| STEP 6* | Congratulations! Your cleaning application is finished when the leak stops. WARNING: Returning to synthetic oil may cause the leak to return. |
| STEP 7 | Vehicles with over 100,000 miles may require a second application. Repeat Steps 1 through 6. |
We recommend that you follow up your treatment by going on the Auto-Rx® maintenance program. Do not begin an Auto-Rx® maintenance program until the rotating seal leak has stopped.
